- 3 grams is a good dose! 9 grams is an ‘attack dose’.
No. 3 grams isn’t even an effective dose, no wonder you don’t feel anything. The chief neurologist at a local hospital told me that taking less than 5 grams a day is a waste of time and money and recommended the following. A daily dose should be 300mg/kg divided in four doses. Piracetam is completely non-toxic and you could eat 400g a day and be fine, this has been thoroughly studied. (Up to 24g has been proven 100% safe in human long term use.)
- Your kidneys will have problems if you take that much!
Only about 80% is metabolized. Let me reiterate, piracetam is non-toxic. You eat far more grams of food a day and don’t seem to complain about that.
- You need to take choline with your piracetam!!!
Unless you get severe headaches from piracetam, you do not require choline. Piracetam increases ACH receptor density over time, so the longer you take it the less your need for choline will become. Even if you experience the headaches initially, they will eventually dissipate with high enough doses taken over enough time. Choline can make you depressed and antagonize the effects of piracetam. If I take choline with piracetam, I feel dumber than before.
- I’ve been on piracetam for 4 days and it’s not working. This is BS!
Piracetam takes anywhere from 1 to 4 months to achieve its full effects.
- Piracetam makes me feel dull!
You are either taking too little or too much, experiment with both.
- It’s still not working.
Take 4g of fish oil along with your piracetam. Dissolve your piracetam in grape juice and take it before meals. If this still does not help, try supplementing with calcium and vitamin D.
- HOLY SHIT THIS IS AMAZING. WHY DIDN’T I DO THIS SOONER?
Yeah, I know.
I’ve only done three, but here are my impressions. If you have anything more specific you want to know, hit me upppp.
Piracetam — It’s okay but takes forever to start working and the effects are very slight. It’s hella cheap though, but you have to eat lots of it too. Usually I combine this with a low dose of noopept.
Aniracetam —This one is my favorite. It helps me focus but not in any pushy way, has anti-anxiety effects, and is very transparent on the body and the mind.
Noopept —This one is okay, but it’s very dose sensitive. If I do too much I just get sleepy and I will fall asleep. Noopept seems to have almost more stimulant type effects with none of the fun aspects of amphetamines. It has a very linear push to it that I find can help with studying but isn’t as conducive to creativity thinking as aniracetam.
